Great breakdown. This is an area that needs vast consideration especially as AI begins to form humans more subtly and dramatically. Glad the Roman Catholic Church is taking a position though I find it more doomer leaning than I would want. I wish there could be a protestant centric statement similar and would wish that it would recognize many of the same challenges while coming down on the more optimistic / accelerationist side. not to contradict the catholic position, but rather to show variety amongst the different parts of the body of Christ.
